The Nigerians Are On The Game Again

Security personnel attached at the Lungi International Airport have arrested a Nigerian national by the name of Elizabeth Olufumi Layo Ogbebor, with a quantity of white substance, suspected to be cocaine.

Making the revelation to newsmen at the bi-weekly Police Press Conference on Tuesday 15th May 2007, the Assistant Inspector General of Police, Richard Moigbeh, who is in charge of operations, said the Nigerian woman was arrested about 20:15 hours on Monday 14th May 2007, when she was trying to board the 5W 072 Astreaus Airline en route to London.

According to AIG Moigbeh Elizabeth Olufumi Layo Ogbebor was arrested with 5.0kg of cocaine, which was concealed underneath her flowing gown. Reports have it that she flew from Nigeria to Sierra Leone on the 112th May 2007 on board Belleview Airlines. She was about to leave the shores of Sierra Leone for London when she ran out of luck.

Elizabeth Olufumi Layo Ogbebor was carrying a Nigeria passport, with number A3287233A. She is now under police custody, helping the detectives in their investigation.

“Sierra Leone is becoming a drug transit point for drug peddlers in the sub-region”, an elderly man remarked yesterday.
